Johnson grass is a type of grass that I guess you can say grows wild kind of like weeds! You may not have it where you live but it's found a lot here in Texas! My grandpa always hated Johnson grass because it's not very filling at all for cows, he always kept his pasture sewed in coastal Bermuda because it was really good for his cows!
