Back in tech school when I was 17, I had a part-time job loading the companies delivery trucks, and doing some deliveries. Boy did it suck in the hot humid summer weather....trucks had no a/c in those days, neither did the companies shipping dept.

UPS still doesn't have a/c.in most of their delivery vehicles yet either! The union did fight for a/c in their vehicles during the last contract negotiations to start having it in all new vehicles starting in January of last year! It's just gonna take time to get it in every vehicle! The building I've been working in for the last year now was built back in 2017 from what I've been told and even it's not air conditioned!

Back in the day a friend of mine on our motocross race team worked for ups on 2nd shift loading packages in their delivery trucks. Claimed they really busted his ass having to load so many packages an hr on their shift. Said also he would have to work the loading docks for a couple years, or more before applying for a vehicle delivery route. After working for them a few months he quit.

UPS is very much like that, you really bust your ass! The Mesquite hub I worked in which is way closer to home was the worst, I used to call them the chain gang! Lol! The Arlington hub where I work now is much more laid back, but it's 30 miles one way 60 miles round trip!
