I've driven manuals all my life by preference. With Toyota 5 speeds, when shifting, I'd skip a gear, 4th, to get to 5th from 3rd. Manuals gave better gas milage as well as a better more enjoyable road feel. With the new 2017 TRD Offroad 4x4 I just bought, it has the premium technology package...
