That’s an awesome story and seriously impressive mileage for a 25+ year-old truck The fact that it’s still running the original clutch (aside from the master/slave) really says a lot about both the build quality and how well you’ve treated it over the years. Those little gremlins and rattles almost feel like part of the truck’s personality at that age.
Interesting note on the tires too—always a tradeoff between road noise and winter traction. Sounds like the Michelins make daily driving much nicer, even if the DuraTracs had the edge in blizzard conditions. Thanks for sharing the journey; trucks like this are what make the taco adventure legendary
