Right now in the middle of the canyons in Utah
The truck really put up a struggle getting through 100 miles of NO services area
Perhaps the engine was not getting enough air because that wind and driving rain was nasty GLA was it nasty, almost hydroplaned on one stretch

What engine maintenance/inspections ought I look to get checked on the engine?

Take a compression test of all the cylinders, and see what they read, opposed to what they should.
