Seems like there are more than there should be. I guess there is an open TSB for the rear diff leaking on a lot of Toyota vehicles. Kind of an as needed fix bulletin.

They tightened the bolts and cleaned it with oil.
Told me to keep an on it.

I washed it down with simple green and I’ve put about 1500 miles, so far I don’t see anything. I’m sure in another 1000-2000 it will start showing some signs and they will replace the gasket at that time.
Seems like a waste of my time. Others with the same leak and some with less have got their gaskets replaced. I still need to call corporate and talk to my case worker about it. Been busy enjoying the summer.
