Keep a Word, Drop a Word

Rupert shouldn't have been allowed to go to the really old couple he was at. They thought it would be great protection.
They were in a small apartment. They were told no big dogs once he hit about 80 lbs.
Knowing that I love Great Danes the pound called me and asked if i would come look at a dog they just got in.
I took him for a 6 hour walk all over town, to the beach, we swam in the lake, and had a great day. I drove back to the pound and said I love him, done deal he has such a great spirit and kind soul.
He was already named Rupert and I didn't want to screw him up changing his name.
The breeders since learned to screen people better.

What a nice story...pre-destined buddies. Rupert is a fine looking dog.
