Keep a Word, Drop a Word

Polk Speakers.

They are better than Bose, around the range as Polk.
I spent a lot of money on my home stereo...but not the kind of money to buy Bowers or some other very top level brand where I could have spent $40,000 on just speakers alone...too me that is crazy for just a home.
But people do spend $90,000 on home stereos which blows my mind.

Knowing that you enjoy music so much investing in a quality stereo system is a great investment.. guaranteed pleasurable return :) I was stunned reading how much speakers can set you back..man.. it blows my mind too. I guess to expert audiophiles can distinguish sound quality even when at the upper cost ranges... to me it would all sound great.

Polk Salad

Caesar Salad.

I only have about $13k into my stereo...which is barely a downpayment on a great system.
I love music, but it is plenty good enough for me.

My drums, guitar, and grand piano are also mid range, not top of the line.
You can spend hundreds of thousands on a piano alone.
I bought a used Mason and Hamlin BB7.

Nice sound system.,, that's a lot of money you've invested. It must be amazing to crank up your tunesite as well as enjoy quality sound at low volume. Do you play those instruments? Nice!
