New truck oil change

I bought a new Tacoma 2 months and the service department tells me I don't have to change the oil until ten thousand miles is this right?

Yeah. It’s tough to get used to. Not break in oil anymore. I honestly still change mine at 5k though.

Depends on how much you drive it’s 10k miles or one year. I only drive about 4-5k miles a year so I change mine once a year. So like @Bogunn every 5k Miles.
