With a record of 6.2 inches of snow accumulation at Mobile Regional Airport, Tuesday’s snowfall broke the all-time record for the region, 130 years after a previous record of six inches whitened the south Alabaman city in 1895, the NWS said.
It does when your as far northwest in the state as I am. Along the coast, it's like 10-15 degrees warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer due to the ocean.
