Any 4 or 6 cylinder with a louder aftermarket exhaust system sound like those rice burners with a fart can. They just sound annoying. Their not a v8.
 
I guess if you spend hr's on the inter web looking for the highest priced gen1 vehicles from owners that are clearly out there, your always going to find that one ''I don't want to sell it price'', or praying some stupid fool comes along with more cash than brains.
 
Sounds like whoever built this resto mod has more into it than it sold for.
I see it all the time when these classic vehicles go to auction. Average cost can be well over $100k for a resto mod to build, yet many times they don't sell at that, or the owner has a reserve on it to meet, and it doesn't sell. Don't forget the auction has to get their cut, which was a few thousand.
